Oregon Children's Theatre presents Ramona Quimby, Portland's favorite local heroine, based on the book by Beverly Cleary and adapted by Len Jenkin. Directed by Betsy Richard, the production runs today, May 9-31, 2015. Click below to meet Ramona and her family!

Meet Ramona Quimby. She lives on Klickitat Street in NE Portland. She's incredibly imaginative, boisterous, at times even exasperating, but always fun. She's beginning third grade where she discovers school is about to become a lot more serious. At home things are getting more challenging too. Her father is fired from his job and returns to college to find another career. Ramona and her big sister Beezus narrate this poignant story of a middle class Portland family in transition. Along the way they don't always get along, but they learn that relying on one another and their family is the best way to overcome life's bumps in the road. Based on stories by Beverly Cleary, Oregon's most famous children's author, Ramona Quimby will appeal to the many generations of readers who have loved this charming pest.

The cast features Steele Clevenger as Ramona Quimby, Annabel Cantor as Beezus Quimby, Kymberli Colbourne as Dorothy Quimby, Rick Huddle as Bob Quimby, Tiffany Groben as Aunt Bea, Iain Campbell Demarest as Howie Kemp, Bella Freeman-Moule as Susan, James Sharinghousen as Uncle Hobart, Paige Jones as Mrs. Kemp/Mrs. Griggs/Tammy, and Darrell Salk as Mr. Frost/Old Man/Doctor.

The creative team includes: Elizabeth Richard (Director), Daniel Meeker (Scenic Designer), Margaret Louise Chapman (Costume Designer), Tal Sanders (Lighting Designer), Rory Stitt (Composer, Sound Designer), Kaye Blankenship (Props Master).
