Our award-winning summer camps are designed with all campers in mind-whether an experienced performer or brand-new to theater, NWCT summer program appeals to students from novices and Broadway-bounders, and everyone in between.

NWCT Summer Camps Feature:
New Experiences: Take a chance! Campers sing, dance, create a character and perform for an audience, develop comedy routines, act out heartfelt dramas, and even learn to act on film. Click here for the full camp listing.

New Faces: NWCT's talented theater teachers are the cornerstone of our summer program. Experienced instructors specialize in all aspects of theater, from contemporary plays and classic stories to Shakespeare and Broadway musicals and even backstage, too.

New Friends: Theater is for everyone! NWCT attracts cool and interesting kids from Oregon and SW Washington and beyond; campers often forge friendships that last well beyond the final bows.

New Look: Haven't been to NWCT lately? You're in for a treat! A year-long facelift has resulted in upgraded restroom facilities (including infant changing station), a brand-new First Stage Storybook Theater, and much more!

NWCT is celebrating its 18th season as Portland's premier children's theater. Dedicated, professional staff, a beautiful building in a great location make NWCT one of most popular summer experiences for youth in the city. Regular breaks and snacks keep campers healthy and happy, while safety measures like controlled building entrances and background checks provide protection and peace of mind.
