No joke! This week, we go around our Broadway World to feature the top 10 stories in St. Petersburg, San Antonio, Los Angles and more. Included in the list are 400 MILES in St. Petersburg, LONDON CALLING in San Antonio, and TICK, TICK... BOOM! in Los Angeles, just to name a few.

NANA'S NAUGHTY KNICKERS

East/Northeast

1. Central PA: Editor Marakay Rogers reviews NANA'S NAUGHTY KNICKERS at Rainbow Dinner Theatre. She says, "Heather, played both by Jessa Lynn Casner and Anna D. Bailey, is one of the most amusing characters in modern farce. If you're younger and you know New York, you've met someone like her; you can even meet a few people like her in Lancaster. She's street-smart, hip, and alternately full of practical wisdom and totally lacking common sense." Read more here.

Midwest

2. Minneapolis, MN: Editor Jill Schafer reviews New Epic Theater's THE NORMAL HEART and CORIOLANUS. She says, "The first half of this pair of plays opened last weekend, a strikingly beautiful and devastating production of the 1985 Off-Broadway play THE NORMAL HEART about the early days of the AIDS crisis. Friends, this is a piece of theater not to be missed. THE NORMAL HEART returns on April 7, but in the meantime you can see the other piece of the puzzle, Shakespeare's CORIOLANUS, this weekend, as I will be (ticket information and performance schedule here). Director Joseph Stodola* and New Epic Theater have a unique vision, one that deserves to be seen." Read more here.

South/Southeast

3. St. Petersburg, FL: Editor Peter Nason reviews Amy Herzog's 4000 MILES at American Stage. He says, "It's a true beauty of a play. And I wept quiet, happy tears, tears of thanks. Thanks to the cast; thanks to the director; and thanks to Ms. Herzog. 4000 MILES is an authentic, moving piece of theatre, and it earns all of its tears and laughter. Not once during the show's 100+ minutes did it ever ring false." Read more here.

4. Austin, TX: Editor Frank Benge Reviews BUS STOP at City Theatre. He says, "This is an exceptional cast that works as an ensemble to convey the great subtlety in Inge's script. Christina Little-Manley is wonderful as Grace, a diner owner that dispenses advice with an acceptance that tells you she is a woman who has more than a passing acquaintance with compromise. As waitress Elma, Jesselyn Parks, is charming and the picture of sweetness and innocence." Read more here.

LONDON CALLING

5. San Antonio, TX: Editor 'Backstage Bunny' reviews LONDON CALLING at the Harlequin. He says, "LONDON CALLING at the Harlequin is one of the slickest shows I have seen since moving to San Antonio just under six years ago. It offers a multitude of classic rock songs presented with such enormous verve and energy that it takes your breath away. The pace never lets up. It's a wonder the cast had any breath left at the end of it." Read more here.

West Coast

6. Palm Springs, CA: Editor Audrey LIebross reviews Coyote Stageworks' ART. She says, "The expressions of emotion, whether through the writer's words or through the actors' inflections, body-language, physical altercations, and yelling back and forth, are so natural that I forgot that these gentlemen were acting. They are so convincing that it is almost painful in spots to watch them attempt to destroy each other. " Read more here.

7. Los Angeles, CA: Editor Gil Kaan reviews TICK, TICK... BOOM! at Hudson Backstage Theatre. He says, "The vocally gifted Nick Bredosky charismatically embodies Jon, effortlessly communicating Jon's re-occurring self-doubts, disturbing insecurities and infectious joys of life. Bredosky's wonderful vocals become quite evident in the opening "30/90."So easy to feel Jon's every smidgen of pain, disappointment or elation." Read more here.

8. Seattle, WA: Editor Amelia Reynolds reviews Seattle Public Theater's THE OTHER PLACE. She says, "Amy Thone's performance as Juliana was hands down one of the greatest displays of acting I have ever seen. She gracefully transitioned between monologue and dialogue, despite the dramatic tonal disparity from one to another... Her performance in this is not to be missed." Read more here.

International

THE PERFECT MURDER

9. UK/West End: Editor Jenny Eli reviews THE PERFECT MURDER at Belgrade Theatre Coventry. She says, "Never have I seen the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry so busy and with so many first-time theatre-goers. Star casting is often moaned at and sometimes rightly so but Richie and Wallace's chemistry is remarkably rare and the strength of their acting performances can blow many out of the water. Here the producers have pitched it exactly right and it has brought a new audience into the theatre, which should be commended." Read more here.

National Tour Highlight:

10. Los Angeles Editor Don Grigware reviews A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER at Ahmanson. He says, "Musicals do not always have great scores, but GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE's tunes by Steven Lutvak snd lyrics by Lutvak and Robert L.Freedman are upbeat and have fast staccato rhythms much like the songs of Gilbert and Sullivan, which is a perfect match for the rapid fire pace and satirical style of the book. Yes, the music and book blend together beautifully." Read more here.
