WHY do the people we love the most drive us the most crazy? I Love You/Who Are You, a witty comedy by Matthew Miller, explores the tough challenges of loving the same person for several decades, and pays tribute to the small details that drive us insane and hold us together.
I Love You/Who Are You is the 2018 winner of the Portland Civic Theatre Guild's New Play Award. In three acts, we see the same couple at three stages in their relationship. Director Trish Egan has assembled a great cast. Act 1 features Tonea Lolin and Tyson Dailey, Act 2 Chris Shields and Harold Phillips, and Act 3 Chrisse Roccaro and Stephen Guntli.
Matthew Miller is a playwright/screenwriter. His short plays, CRYSTAL BETH, HOLD UP and IT TAKES TWO, have been produced in the San Francisco Bay Area and South Florida. He is the co-writer of a screenplay, EXILE, that was selected as a semi-finalist for the Shore Scripts Screenwriting Contest and a winner of the Los Angeles based Screenplay Festival. He currently resides in SW Portland with his partner, Chris, their dog, Paca, and their cat, Mashed Potatoes.
