Oregon Children's Theatre presents JUNIE B. JONES: THE MUSICAL -- the popular book series by Barbara Park hits the stage in a colorful, funny, and fast-paced musical, featuring book & lyrics by Marcy Heisler and music by Zina Goldrich. BroadwayWorld has the first look at this adorable production!

"1st grade is hard! Last year I had two best friends. This year the lunch lady is my best friend. Last year I was cute. This year I need glasses." It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade and a lot of things have changed for her. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament, new friends -- and school has never been more exciting. Will our feisty first grader survive the new school year? Follow Junie B.'s adventures as she writes it all down in her "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal."

The cast features Kai Tomizawa as Junie B. Jones, Clayton Lukens as Herb, Grace Proschold as Lucille, Skyler Derthick as Chenille, Kaylee Bair as Grace, Joe Theissen as Dad and others, Liz Ghiz as Mother, Lauren Burton as Bobbie Jean, and David Van Dyke as Lennie.
