Lakewood Theatre Company will open on Friday April 28, 2017 with the landmark musical, Godspell with music and lyrics by Steve Schwartz and book by John-Michael Tebelak. The production sponsor for Godspell is Nicoletta's Table & Marketplace.
The show, based upon the Gospel according to Saint Matthew, continues through June 11, 2017 on the Headlee Mainstage at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM, two Wednesday performances at 7:30 PM (May 17 and May 31), Sundaymatinees at 2:00 PM (May 7, 21, 28, and June 4, 11) and Sunday evenings at 7:00 PM (April 30 and May 14, 28). Special note: On Wednesdays, May 17 and May 31 the theatre continues its program called WOW: 25-35. For people 35 and under tickets are priced at $25 each. One hour prior to performance there will be a complimentary wine tasting. On May 17, Pete's Mountain Vineyard & Winery hosts the tasting. And on May 31, it is hosted by World Class Wines.
