Broadway at Good Theater is the annual holiday fundraising concert for the organization. Proceeds benefit Good Theater and their season of plays and musicals. In the past, all five concerts have sold-out, so patrons are advised to get their tickets early.
This unique event mixes Broadway hits with holiday favorites. Act one is devoted to the music of Broadway. This year patrons will hear songs from South Pacific, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Chess, Hair, Man of LaMancha and many others. Act two highlights songs of the holiday season. In addition to well-known numbers like "Sleigh Ride," "What Child Is This," and "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," singers will feature some lesser known Christmas songs as well ("Cool Yule," "Blue Holiday," "Three Wishes for Christmas").
Good Theater is the professional theater in residence at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, on Mun
Joy Hill, in Portland. Upcoming productions at Good Theater include: The Spitfire Grill (January 21 - February 14) and The Importance of Being Earnest (March 4 - 28).
