Miracle Theatre (Milagro) is the premier theatre in the Portland metro area and the Pacific Northwest to celebrate Latino culture. Milagro is known for its extraordinary seasons of Latino theatre productions, packed full of unique, enriching, and community-oriented arts and culture programming. Today, May 31, 2013, at 6p.m., the culture of Argentina will be celebrated at Miracle's first-ever Gala Milagro. By then, the theatre will have completed its 29th season of unique Latino theatre and art experiences, and moving on to initiating its 30th year.
This first-ever Gala Milagro will feature the Emcee talents of Milagro actor Enrique Andrade, familiar to most Portland metro commuters as the Spanish voice on the Max, and auctioneer Brian Bice of Maximized Philanthropy Auctions. For further entertainment, there will be performances by Tango Sombra, a five piece Tango band, and dancers Adam Cornett and Remanda Shang will perform Tango and Chacarera pieces.
Tickets are on sale now at $100 a seat or $800 for a table of 8 and can be purchased online through the Gala website, milagro.org/3-Support-Apollo/GalaMilagro.html, or by calling the Miracle Theatre at 503.236.7253.
