The Lost Treasures Collection, a multi award winning series of rarely performed musical gems, is back for a sixth season at Lakewood Theatre Company. This year three musicals featuring the theme "Passport to Romance" will be presented in a concert/cabaret style. The first offering, Do I Hear A Waltz? will have only 3 performances: Friday, October 23 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Performances are on Lakewood's Side Door stage at Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Each show in the series is presented script-in-hand, with minimal staging. No sets, no props (free from the usual trappings of a fully staged production). Food and beverages are available for purchase before and during the show.

In 2013, PAMTA (Portland Area Musical Theatre Awards) presented Lakewood Theatre Company with a special award celebrating the origination of this series and the curatorial care that director Ron Daum has brought to this series of musical plays.

The 2015-16 Lost Treasures series of plays includes Do I Hear A Waltz? (October 23-24, 2015), Jamaica (February 19-20, 2016), and Sail Away (April 15-16, 2016). The series sponsor is Jaye W. Taylor, Rob Le Chevallier and Buckley Law P.C.

The production features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents. The musical is based on the play The Time of the Cuckoo by Arthur Laurents. Lakewood's production is staged and curated by Ron Daum. Musical direction is by Bill Wells and the producers are Kay Vega and Steve Knox. The title sponsor is Jaye W. The Story: Leona Samish (Susannah Mars), an unmarried American secretary "of a certain age," goes on a vacation to Venice where, under the spell of that enchanted city, she falls in love. The gentleman (Matthew Hayward) is an attractive, middle-aged shopkeeper, whose attentions give flight to her deepest dreams of romance. Her hopes are dashed, however, when she finds that he is a family man. He offers her a chance to entertain a brief romance, might it not be better than never having loved at all? This timeless story, which is the basis of the movie Summertime starring Katharine Hepburn, remains a bittersweet testament to the complexities of the heart.

Others in the cast include McKenzie Brock, Dennis Corwin, Lisamarie Harrison, Del Lewis, Chrisse Roccaro, Stephanie Rose, Matt Sepeda and Max Young. Musicians include Bill Wells on piano and Deb Blakewood on the acoustic bass.

Ticket prices are $20 for all seats. The whole series of three musicals is available for a subscription package of $55.
