With Mrs. Claus away just before the big day, Santa and the elves need extra help around the workshop. And it's always the same things: feed Mort breakfast, find Mert's To-Do list, feed Mort lunch, oversee toy production, prepare Mort's snacks, check the lists to see who's naughty, nice and...oh, yes... hungry. Mergatroid and Holly try best to help, but when Aunt Tillie arrives to help keep everyone well fed, a little recipe accident causes huge problems. Only we can't remember what exactly that is - and neither can they. Just in time, little junior elf Holly and Peppermint Bear will certainly help see everything works out right.

The performers from area high schools include Callie Sahli, Declan Glover, Makenna Markman, Karsten George, Grace Thompson, Kate Goddard, Angela Tam, Kierra Koehn, and Tabitha Wells. The show also includes adult actor Brandon Weaver and the production also features a special guest appearance by A Man in a Red Suit.

The Peppermint Bear Show 2016: The Elves That Forgot Christmas is directed and choreographed by Michael Snider, The book and lyrics are by Michael Snider with music by Kurt Misar. Light design is by Kurt Herman, and the producer is Steve Knox.

The Peppermint Bear Show first premiered at Portland's Lipman's Department Store, which then became Fredrick and Nelson. It became a popular Holiday tradition for over 30 years. Since that time the show has been produced in New York and countless cities on the east coast, mid-west and Hawaii.

Lakewood's annual Holiday Breakfast Theatre production is celebrating its 25th year. Audience members enjoy a special holiday continental breakfast 1/2 hour before the show and performers interact with young audience members to help them celebrate the holidays. The performance is suitable for ages 3-12.

Welcome back Peppermint Bear!
