Fuse Theatre Ensemble Presents FUSE FEAST Fundraiser, 11/29

Mark your calendar now for Fuse Feast on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 1:30 pm at Theatre Noir @ Theater!Theatre! 3430 SE Belmont.  The cost of tickets range from $10 to $50.  The portion of the ticket price over $5 is a tax-deductible donation.

A fundraiser for Fuse Theatre Ensemble, Fuse Feast is an artistic cornucopia featuring some of Portland's most exciting performers.

In keeping with their mission to "fuse" with other artists and art forms, Fuse has invited a broad range of performing artists to come together to serve up a satisfying afternoon of theatre, dance, visual arts, music, and puppetry. Just the thing for the post-holiday afterglow!

"Courses" include:

-  Aurora Chorus - powerful women's chorus singing peace

-  Buoy LaRue - local favorite chamber-pop band

-  Dance Fusion Northwest - the joy and passion of dance

-  Bill Holznagel and Jason Miranda - master puppeteers with their own unique take on   Shrödinger's Cat

-  KB Custom Framing and Greg Bunker - beautiful art, beautiful frames

-  Annaliese Moyer - photographer extraordinaire

-  Natya Leela Academy - showcase of traditional, ancient dance styles of India
Northwest Academy - a sampling from the area's premiere arts and education school

-  Original Practice Shakespeare Festival - Portland's newest and most exciting Shakespeare    practitioners

-  Annie Vergnetti - edgie folkrock with a twist of slide and grit

-  Slap That Bitch! - a sneak preview reading from Fuse's original hip-hop retelling of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew premiering in February 2010.

Also, participate in crafting an Instant Play - you help set the play in motion by providing a word for inspiration and Fuse Theatre Ensemble will write, direct and perform the play in front of your eyes before Fuse Feast is over!
After Thanksgiving and Black Friday come sit back, relax, let out your waistband, and enjoy an artistic smorgasbord! Light refreshments and beverages will be served to satisfy your other appetites.

Funds raised at Fuse Feast will help support Fuse's 2010 season by underwriting costs to hire actors and designers, build sets and costumes, and pay rent. Your support is greatly appreciated!
