The new production of Everest brings something for young and older spectators. It also shows something that is a mixture of music, acrobatics, and dance combined into one story.

Depending on what you're expecting and what's important to you, chances are you'll leave hungry for more.

It's fast, musically great, and you’ll get fireworks every once in a while (it also happens literally).

It's not a circus, it's not a theatre, it's all at once. Lights, movements, notes, and voices merge to make this show a journey into a different world. You'll be amazed at how powerful the human body can be (don't try it at home though). What I liked the most about this show is that it's not too complicated, they do what they do best: perform. It is based on the power of molds and voices. They also have fun and it's contagious! You will be touched, moved, and you will smile. A great group of artists (Anna Cielecka, Magdalena Gawlinska, Amelia Karczewska, Mikolaj Korbiel, Marta Madry, Anna Golebiowska, Milena Libura, Wiktoria Lukowicz, Jacek Marks, Pawel Pater, Mateusz Przybyslawski, Karolina Gajewska, Patryk Sobieszek, Robert Gulaczyk, Maciej Durkalec, Magdalena Zawartko, Hubert Zurawski) wouldn't let you out of their world. The story is simple, the means of communication are simple, and there is space for magic and imagination. Shadow theater, puppets, props, knives, wheels, characters turning under the ceiling, everything is there, but the greatest asset of this production is that they know what they are doing. Every note is sung on point and every gesture and movement has certainty and purpose.

This show directed by Kamil Przybos is like a well-baked pie, with craftsmanship and certainty that only professionals can afford. But don't be fooled by this serious approach, by watching it you will experience the bending of the body's capabilities up close and you start to wonder if what we are seeing is real. The art of acrobatics is perfect for children's shows. At some point, you stop wondering how it is possible that they have such incredible control over their bodies, but you let it carry you like a magic show. This is what allows your inner child to speak - move away from what is difficult to understand and just enjoy it.
