War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Cente

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center is excited to present our 2020 “Live Radio Play Series." Modeled after the near century-old art form’s tradition, Lincoln Park will present four radio plays and livestream them directly to patrons’ own homes. Exciting and thought-provoking stories are brought to life by a group of talented actors using the power of their voices, music, and sound effects. And all of the audio is recorded LIVE  in real time!  This Series kicks off with War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, complete with vintage commercials and live sound effects, this radio-play-within-a-radio-play is a thrilling homage to the form's golden age and timely reminder of what fear can do to a society.
