The Marthaodyssey features dance artist Jesse Factor in a unique fusion of modern dance and pop music, drawing inspiration from both Madonna and Martha Graham. The performance will take place at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater from November 8 to 9, exploring themes of gender and identity through innovative choreography. Factor's work challenges traditional gender roles, engaging audiences in a dialogue around queer freedom and expression. The event will also include an opening night afterparty with the local queer DJ collective Jellyfish, along with community engagement opportunities such as a dinner and dance class.
