Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd, the bloodthirsty musical about a wrongfully imprisoned barber who returns to London ready to seek revenge on those who took everything he loved away from him. With an epic score by Stephen Sondheim and a terrifying book by Hugh Wheeler, this thrilling and wildly popular story will delight horror fans. Directed by KRT artistic director Nick Hrutkay (IUP ’11), who was at the helm of KRT’s other bloody productions Macbeth, Evil Dead, and Bat Boy.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street runs July 31, August 1–2 at 8:00 p.m. and August 3 at 2:00 p.m. The production will be performed at the Indiana Theater.
Tickets are available on the IUP Ticket page, and the remaining seats will be sold at the door 45 minutes before the show. Tickets are priced at $14 for regular, $12 for senior, and $10 for I-Card holders.
