Florence Foster Jenkins was a wealthy and eccentric socialite who believed she was a great coloratura soprano when in fact, she was incapable of producing two consecutive notes in tune. Despite (or perhaps because of) this, her annual recitals in the ballroom of the Ritz Carlton hotel brought her extraordinary fame. Souvenir tells her story through the eyes of her accompanist Cosme McCoon. A truly talented musician, he regards her at first as little more than an easy way to pay the rent but his initial contempt gives way to reluctant admiration, then friendship and even affection. Get to know this epic musical odd-couple!
