Crave at ELSEWHERE Theatre Company

ELSEWHERE Theatre Company opens CRAVE by Sarah Kane at Carnegie Stage January 25th-Feb 3rd.

"Crave" is a non-linear piece with a poetic structure. The dialogue is intertextual and the intended recipient of each line is often ambiguous. The interpretation and delivery of the text will largely be left to the production. The play delves into several somber subjects that deeply affect the four characters, serving as haunting issues throughout the story. These issues encompass sensitive topics such as rape, incest, pedophilia, anorexia, drug addiction, mental instability, murder, and suicide. This play is not suitable for young audiences.

ELSEWHERE Theatre Company is an exciting new theatre company created by artists for artists. Our mission is to create theatrical productions by and for people who are passionate about the art of theatre, through creating and fostering an environment where artists are able to express themselves unapologetically. Therefore abolishing preconceived notions of what theatre is, and shifting the perspective of what theatre can be.
