Known in the Performing Arts market as the principles in the wildly successful symphonic show, Classical Mystery Tour, Tony Kishman (bass guitar) and Jim Owen (rhythm guitar and keyboards) perform beautiful and emotionally powerful Lennon-McCartney duets. But with the depth of The Beatles songbook, Twist & Shout creates a more organic experience with more personal reflections on the music. Those who have seen Classical Mystery Tour know that there is no Beatles song these guys cannot handle. In Twist & Shout they will prove it by taking text message requests from the audience during the show and delivering a closing set that incorporates some of these audience favorites.
Actor, singer, and recording artist, Tony Kishman doubles as featured performer and producer of Twist & Shout. Tony starred for six years in both the national and international tours of Broadway's smash hit, Beatlemania. "Tony Kishman is the quintessential Paul McCartney..." said the Long Island Advance of the gifted young musician's uncanny resemblance both visually and vocally to the beloved Beatle.
Kishhman is regarded by "Beatlemaniacs" as the world's best McCartney look-alike/sound-alike. He has been performing his award winning tribute to the most successful band of all time around the globe for more than a decade, bringing the music and the magic of the Beatles to a new generation. Tony has recorded for RCA Records and Mercury Records.
JIM OWEN (rhythm guitar, piano, vocals) as "John"
Singer/arranger/musician, Jim Owen was just sixteen when he made his first professional appearance in a Beatles tribute band. By the time he was eighteen, he was touring internationally with various productions of Beatlemania, visiting Japan, Korea, China, Canada, Mexico, and South America, and performing his Beatles tribute in concert halls, stadiums and theatres around the world.
In addition to his featured role in Twist & Shout, Jim currently stars, along with his partner Tony Kishman, in the Beatles symphony show, Classical Mystery Tour and in the McCartney symphonic review, Live and Let Die. The success of these projects has given Jim notoriety in his own right as a producer and band leader, and represents the fulfillment of his dream to share with the public live performances of some of the greatest music ever written and recorded. Jim Owen was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California. He began studying piano at six and won honors in various piano performance competitions through his teenage years. He was eight years old when he first heard The Beatles and promptly decided to take up the study of the guitar.
JOHN BROSNAN (lead guitar, vocals) as "George"
John is a musician and songwriter based in London. He studied piano at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. His first professional engagement as a musician was in a theater playing in the orchestra pit, before spending the next ten years playing in original and cover bands. John's credits include a Top 10 Australian hit with "The Corporation," and a Billboard Magazine Top 100 hit with Lydia Price. He began performing the role of George Harrison in 2000 and since then has toured throughout the world with several Beatles tribute productions.
CHRIS CAMILERRI (drums, vocals) as "Ringo"
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Chris Camilleri started listening to Beatles records at a young age and, inspired by Ringo, took up the drums. Chris has played drums for major classic rock touring artists, including Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, Badfinger, Micky Dolenz of The Monkees, Joe Walsh, and other Beatles-era bands.
