Pittsburgh CLO is pleased to announce the 2010-2011 Cabaret Subscription Series and the Pittsburgh premiere of Triple Espresso. Kicking off the series is the world premiere of ‘S Wonderful: The New Gershwin Musical, opening tonight and running through September 5. Following ‘S Wonderful is the Pittsburgh Premiere of the highly caffeinated comedy Triple Espresso. This comedy, which combines the talents of three crazy and unforgettable characters, laughs its way into the Cabaret September 8 and continues through January 9, 2011. The Little Sisters of Hoboken are back by popular demand to complete the 2010-2011 Cabaret Series with the return of Nunsense, running January 19-April 17, 2011. This all-singing, all-dancing celebration of the brilliant music and lyrics of brothers George and Ira Gershwin makes its world premiere at the CLO Cabaret tonight!

Triple Espresso

What did three guys do in 4 minutes that got them banned from show business for life? And why would they try it again? It's a rags to rags story that romps across the funny bone with a spirit of infectious fun! Triple Espresso's a highly caffeinated comedy about highly caffeinated comedians celebrating their own reunion, and crowds keep coming back for refills. Critics say it's "Like an evening with the Marx Brothers." Friends say, "Let's see it again!"

Back by popular demand, the Little Sisters of Hoboken return to the CLO Cabaret! The original Pittsburgh CLO cast returns, featuring: Lenora Nemetz as Sister Robert Anne, Leah Hillgrove as Sister Leo, Christy Rodibaugh as Sister Hubert, Brittany Ross as Sister Amnesia and Terry Wickline as the Reverend Mother. Celebrate the New Year with this hilarious audience favorite!

Since 1946, the Pittsburgh CLO has been the driving force behind live musical theater in Pittsburgh and the entire Southwestern Pennsylvania region. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a non-profit organization whose mission is the cultural and economic development of Pittsburgh's Cultural District through public and private partnerships. The Trust encourages diverse performing and visual arts programs within the District and is an impetus for additional development in the District's 14-square-block area. Theater Square, a project of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, is a state-of-the-art multipurpose facility, designed by Michael Graves and situated between the O'Reilly Theater and Agnes R. Katz Plaza in the heart of the Cultural District. In addition to the Cabaret, the building consists of a 790-space parking garage (opened April 2003); The Box Office at Theater Square, a centralized Cultural District ticketing center (opened September 2003); the Carolyn M. Byham WQED 89.3fm studio broadcasting live performances and interviews (opened September 2003); and the restaurant, Café Zao, which opened in March 2004.
