Pittsburgh Public Theater presents Time of My Life, a contemporary comedy by British master playwright Alan Ayckbourn. Time of My Life is directed by John Tillinger, whose extensive Broadway credits include Say Goodnight, Gracie with Frank Gorshin and The Sunshine Boys with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall. Time of My Life runs April 15 - May 16, 2010 at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District.

For tickets call 412.316.1600 or visit www.ppt.org. Pittsburgh Public Theater is led by Producing Artistic Director Ted Pappas.

Time of My Life takes place in the restaurant Essa de Calvi, where its owner and four waiters share an amazing family resemblance (they are all played by Tom Beckett). We begin at a birthday party for Laura (Ann McDonough), who is celebrating with her husband Gerry (Paxton Whitehead), their son Glyn (Tim McGeever) and his wife Stephanie (Leah Curney), and their other son Adam (Jeffrey Withers) and his girlfriend Maureen (Sarah Manton). A few too many cocktails later, as the evening is winding down, we realize that Ayckbourn's playwriting genius is just winding up. He keeps us in the restaurant, but follows Glyn and Stephanie into the future and Adam and Maureen into the past, while Gerry and Laura stay in the present. Ayckbourn comments on family, work, relationships, and of course food, but ultimately his manipulation of past, present and future suggest that living in the moment is the best time of all.

The design team for Time of My Life is James Noone (Scenic), Laurie Churba Kohn (Costumes), Rui Rita (Lighting), and Zach Moore (Sound). Fred Noel is the Production Stage Manager and Ashley J Martin is the Assistant Stage Manager.
