The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces two Puppet Making Workshops, one for adults (21+) and one for children and families, will be held in December. The puppets will be part of the FedEx Ground Parade that takes place on Tuesday, December 31st during the 20th anniversary of Highmark First Night Pittsburgh, in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's Education and Community Engagement Department will host the workshops taught by Cheryl Capezzuti, owner of Studio Capezzuti and creative director for the parade. The Puppet Making Workshops will focus on this year's parade theme, Special Delivery. Participants will design, build, and paper mâché their work all in one workshop and their creations will be showcased as part of the FedEx Ground Parade on December 31st, at 8:00 p.m., along Penn Avenue in the Cultural District.
