Pittsburgh CLO Academy Students to Perform ANYTHING GOES, 11/15

Pittsburgh CLO Academy is proud to announce that its students will perform Anything Goes at the New Hazlett Theater on November 15 at 2:00 & 7:00pm. The cast members are all enrolled in the school's Musical Theater Production class and are being directed by Pittsburgh CLO Academy faculty members Justin Fortunato, Scott Sambuco, and Bob Neumeyer. This production is just one of the many ways that the Pittsburgh CLO Academy provides real-world performance opportunities for its students. Tickets are available by calling 412-281-2234.

About Pittsburgh CLO Academy's Musical Theater Production Class - The Musical Theater Production class gives students the opportunity to work with a professional director, music director and choreographer. Three times a week, the students learn the aspects of putting together a fully-staged performance from auditions through performance. The class culminates in a live public performance at a professional theater venue.

Anything Goes will be presented at the New Hazlett Theater (6 Allegheny East, North Side) November 15 at 2:00 & 7:00pm. Tickets are $20 for adults; $10 for children under 12. Tickets are available and can be purchased by calling 412-281-2234 or visiting pittsburghCLO.org.

Since 1946, the Pittsburgh CLO has been the driving force behind live musical theater in Pittsburgh and the entire Southwestern Pennsylvania region. Under the direction of Van Kaplan since 1997, this not-for-profit arts organization appreciates the support of nearly 200,000 patrons each year and produces a subscription series, educational programs, national tours and develops and invests in new works, including 19 Broadway shows (25 Tony Awards) featuring the current productions of Cinderella, Kinky Boots and Matilda. Its dedication to the musical theater art form extends to include such programs as the CLO Academy, the CLO Mini Stars, the Gene Kelly Awards, the Richard Rodgers Award the National High School Musical Theater Awards, the Construction Center for the Arts and the CLO Cabaret.
