The show will run Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8PM and Sunday Matinees at 2PM. ASL interpretation available on Saturday, February 16, 2013. For tickets, call 412-624-PLAY or visit www.play.pitt.edu.

An Average Town (with a Twist) Welcome to Heartsville High, your "typical" mid-western American high school, where the jocks on the chess team dominate the school's social ladder, the Girls' Intramural Mechanical Bull- Riding Team sets the rules for fashion and cool, and every senior wants to be crowned prom King and King or Queen and Queen. But the small community of Heartsville will be turned on its head when Zanna and his friends put on a musical featuring a scandalous heterosexual kiss.

Promoting Social Change As sweet as it is satirical, Tim Acito and Alexander Dinelaris's Off Broadway hit, Zanna, Don't!, comes to the Pitt Rep stage this February (just in time for Valentine's day.) In order to promote the show's messages of acceptance and equality, the University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre will partner with local GLBT organizations such as GLSEN, PFLAG and Persad to host a series of talkbacks and community discussions after the shows. There will also be a special preview of the show at the Oakland branch of the Carnegie Library on February 3rd.

The University of Pittsburgh Repertory Theatre (Pitt Rep) is flagship theatre company of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Theatre Arts. For more information about the department or the company, visit www.play.pitt.edu.
