ON YOUR FEET, TITANIC, and More as Part of Pittsburgh CLO's 2018 Summer Season

Pittsburgh CLO is pleased to announce its 2018 Summer Season will open with the Pittsburgh premiere of ON YOUR FEET! - the Emilio and Gloria Estefan musical - direct from Broadway! According to The New York Times, "The very air in the room seems to vibrate in this undeniably crowd-pleasing new musical!" ON YOUR FEET! will conga through the Benedum Center June 12-17, kicking off our 72nd summer of musicals in style.

Also set to make waves June 22-July 1 is TITANIC, in a rarely revived and first-ever production by Pittsburgh CLO. This Tony Award-winner for Best Musical, with a lush score by Maury Yeston and book by Peter Stone, is sure to leave audiences breathless.

As summer heats up, Pittsburgh CLO strips down with THE FULL MONTY, July 6-15. Based on the Academy Award-winning film, this show, with a book by Terrance McNally and score by David Yazbek, bares the truth about what some are willing to do for the ones they love. The New York Times exclaims, "THE FULL MONTY is that rare, aggressive crowd-pleaser that you don't have to apologize for liking."

The Season will then take you to Scotland and the magical village of BRIGADOON, July 17-22. This timeless Lerner and Loewe musical theater classic will grace the Pittsburgh CLO stage in its first outing in 16 years!

Coming in at #1 on our Annual Audience Survey is the enchanting production of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. It may be a "tale as old as time," but it's ripe for a new audience of Disney and musical theater fans. "Be our guest" July 27-August 5!

Pittsburgh CLO is thoroughly proud to wrap up the 2018 Summer Season with the Tony Award-winner for Best Musical, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, August 7-12. Filled with frisky flappers and explosive production numbers, MILLIE is certain to charm audiences of all ages!

"Audiences will love the new Broadway musical ON YOUR FEET!, the real-life story of music superstars Emilio and Gloria Estefan and their hard-won rise to fame in the music business. Pittsburgh CLO co-produced the show on Broadway, and now our patrons will have a unique opportunity to see this musical as part of our Summer Season. I am also excited to create our first-ever production of TITANIC, an ambitious musical many have never seen before, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1997, debuting before the famous film version did.
