The New Mystics Theatre Company, a New Group in our region, bring two passionate performances to The Centre Theater. 7 REASONS Set in the visitors' room of a drug rehabilitation center, this collection of monologues details the drug and alcohol experiences of a divergent group of young people. Consequences of use, family dynamics, struggles with getting clean, peer pressure, and other aspects of their lives are presented in a straightforward and realistic manner sure to catch and keep the attention of teens. And I Am Not Other which is a piece about prejudice and violence including inspiring words from Dr. King. PERFECT for students and Educators. Jan 23 @ 2pm and 8pm

The Centre Theater brings a series of events by more than eleven regional performance groups to its fourth floor theater with the Independent Voices Festival.


The Independent Voices Festival spotlights performers who deserve an encore performance or who want to bring new work to the stage. The Centre Theater also offers opportunities for new performers to explore professional productions. The month long festival highlights more than three premieres and performances from many genres' including theatre, movement, music, and puppetry.
