The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces a one night only performance of Broadway Showstoppers featuring award-winning performing artists Mandy Gonzalez, Cady Huffman, Telly Leung and Alton Fitzgerald White will take place on Monday, May 4, 2015, at 7:30 p.m., Cabaret at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, in Pittsburgh's Cultural District. The TRUST Cabaret Series is presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and provides a unique and intimate opportunity for audiences to experience the finest cabaret acts in the entertainment industry. The evening will include these four talented Broadway stars singing songs on their repertoire from shows in which they have performed. Stephen DeAngelis is the creator, producer and host of Broadway Showstoppers, with musical direction and accompaniment by Eugene Gwozdz.

Mandy Gonzalez's Broadway credits include In the Heights (Nina Rosario) - a role she originally created Off Broadway at 37 Arts (Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble), Wicked (Elphaba) for which she received Best Replacement honor by Broadway.com, Aida (Princess Amneris) andLennon (portraying multiple roles). Ms. Gonzalez made her Broadway debut in Dance of the Vampires starring opposite Michael Crawford. She received an OBIE Award for her performance in the Off-Broadway production Eli's Comin', directed by Diane Paulus, based on music and lyrics of singer-songwriter Laura Nyro.

Ms. Gonzalez's film credits include Across the Universe directed by Julie Taymor, After starring opposite Pablo Schreiber and Man on a Ledge with Sam Worthington. Her television credits include 666 Park Avenue, One Life to Live, The Good Wife, Third Watch and White Collar.

In Disney's Mulan II, Ms. Gonzalez is the voice of Mei, and she has recorded for original Broadway cast albums In the Heights, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk LIVE and The Man Who Would Be King. She has performed in prestigious venues across the U.S. and around the world. Ms. Gonzalez is working on her first solo album with a release in 2015.

Cady Huffman's Broadway credits include The Nance (Outer Critics' Circle nomination), The Producers (Tony, Drama Desk & Outer Critics' Circle awards), The Will Rogers Follies (Tony nomination), Dame Edna:The Royal Tour, Steel Pier, Bob Fosse's Big Deal and La Cage aux Folles. Her television credits include 10 seasons as a judge on Iron Chef America, The Good Wife, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Law & Order series: CI, SVU and TBJ, Frasier, Mad About You and One Life to Live; and her film credits include The Company Men, Romance & Cigarettes, The Nanny Diaries,Dare and Hero.

Telly Leung's Broadway credits include Godspell, RENT, Wicked (Boq), Pacific Overtures and Flower Drum Song. Mr. Leung will be starring opposite George Takei and Lea Salonga in ALLEGIANCE, opening in the fall 2015 at Longacre Theater, New York City. Television credits include Dalton Academy Warblers (Wes) in Glee, Deadbeat, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Broadway or Bust(PBS). Leung is the producer of GRIND, a musical short film starring Anthony Rapp (RENT). In concert, Mr. Leung has performed to sold-out houses throughout the U.S and abroad. His solo CD, I'll Cover You, is available on The Yellow Sound Label.

Alton Fitzgerald White's Broadway credits include Disney's The Lion King (over 4,000 performances as King Mufasa), The Color Purple (Mister), Ragtime (Coalhouse Walker Jr.), Smokey Joe's Cafe (Ken-US and London productions), Miss Saigon (John) and The Who's Tommy (Hawker). Mr. White has performed in concert at venues around the globe. White's critically acclaimed recording Disney My Way! reimagines and celebrates the classic music of Disney.

Eugene Gwozdz (Musical Director/Accompanist) is the Music Director/Arranger for the Duke Ellington Center for the Arts. Broadway and Broadway national tours credits include Sunset Boulevard starring Petula Clark, Flower Drum Song, Swing!, The Color Purple, The Phantom of the Opera, The Will Rogers' Follies and West Side Story (conducted and played keyboards). Mr. Gwozdz has worked with many Broadway stars, including Audra McDonald, Patti Lupone, Chita Rivera, Norbert Leo Butz, Stephanie J. Block, Leslie Uggams, Anika Noni Rose, Patrick Wilson, Rachel York, Shirley Jones, Cady Huffman, Shuler Hensley, Betty Buckley, Donna McKechnie, Will Chase, LaChanze, Nikki James, Chris Seiber, Norm Lewis, Megan Hilty, Kristin Chenowith, John Tartaglia, Mark Kudisch, Sebastian Arcellus, Laura Benanti, Karen Ziemba, Lou Diamond Phillips, Brent Barrett and Laura Bell Bundy.

Stephen DeAngelis (Producer/Host) was Casting Director for the six-time, Emmy Award nominated Playhouse Disney series Johnny and the Sprites starring Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia, televised on the Disney Channel. His work has been seen in New York and regionally in over 300 theatrical productions, as well as numerous festival showcases, workshops and staged readings. Mr. DeAngelis cast the 25thAnniversary National Tour of HAIR; and was the Casting Director/Talent Executive for the World AIDS Day All-Star Concert Revivals of PIPPIN and The Secret Garden. On staff at Grey Advertising, DeAngelis has cast over 3,200 network television and radio commercials for a variety of corporate clients. He is the Producing Artistic Director and Host of At This Performance, a critically acclaimed concert series which has showcased the talents of over 700 Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys, understudies and alternates in events in New York and across the U.S. He has produced and hosted over 200 concerts nationwide featuring a multitude of Broadway stars, including many Tony Award winners and nominees, as well as stars from hit television series and films. Mr. DeAngelis is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and has staged musicals in major theaters across the country.
