Malcolm Gets will join the ensemble of CURTAINS at CLO as LT. Frank Cioffi June 22 through 27. Directing this production will be Charley Repole with choreography by Michael Lichtefeld and musical direction by Tom Helm. Also starring in the cast will be Ashley Spencer as Nikki Harris.

CURTAINS features a book by Rupert Holmes (Say Goodnight Gracie), music and lyrics by Broadway legends Fred Ebb and John Kander (Cabaret and Chicago), an original book and concept by Peter Stone (Titanic, 1776 and The Will Rogers Follies), with additional lyrics by Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Say Goodnight Gracie).

A "play within a play," CURTAINS takes place backstage at Boston's Colonial Theatre in 1959. It's the opening night of "Robbin' Hood of the Old West" and the new musical could be a smash hit, if it weren't for the show's incredibly untalented leading lady. When she is murdered during the curtain call, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi is summoned to conduct an investigation. The lure of the theater soon becomes irresistible to the stage-struck detective and he finds himself just as dedicated to making the show a hit as he is to solving the murder.

Malcolm Gets' New York Theater credits include: Amour (Tony and Drama Desk nominations); A New Brain; Merrily We Roll Along (Drama Desk nomination, Obie Award); The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Obie); Hello, Again; Boys and Girls; Finian's Rainbow; Polish Joke; Juno; and The Boys From Syracuse and The Apple Tree, both for the Encores! Series. He was Richard, the tortured artist, on NBC's "Caroline in the City." Films include "Thirteen Conversations About One Thing," "Love in the Time of Money," "Adam and Steve," "Sex and the City," and the soon to be released "Grey Gardens." He is currently recording his first solo CD with John McDaniel for PS Classics.

Tickets for CURTAINS are $26.50 to $70.50 and are available online HERE or by phone (412)456-6666.
