Applications are now available for the 2013 Pittsburgh CLO Summer Internship Program. The Summer Internship Program runs approximately 10 weeks beginning in mid-May to early August, depending upon the internship being applied for, and affords students 18 years of age and older the opportunity to work one-on-one with musical theater industry professionals.

Internships are available in the following areas: Cabaret Theater, Choreography, Company Management, Costume Coordination, Development, Education & Outreach, Graphic/Web Design, Hair Design, Lighting Design, Musical Direction, Production Management, Property Coordination, Public Relations, Sound Design, Special Events/Admin, Stage Direction, Stage Management and Video Production.

By working behind-the-scenes on Pittsburgh CLO's 2013 Summer Season, interns will receive professional training and invaluable hands-on experience in both musical theater and non-profit administration. Running May 31 through August 4 at the Benedum Center, CLO's 2013 Summer Season will feature 42nd Street, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Kopit & Yeston's Phantom, Disney's The Little Mermaid and Buddy - the Buddy Holly Story.

Established in 1973 and funded through the generosity of the CLO Guild, the Pittsburgh CLO Internship program provides students with a stipend per contracted week to cover expenses and the opportunity for college credit, but more importantly, the chance to pursue their artistic interests professionally.
