Applications are now available for the 2012 Pittsburgh CLO Summer Internship Program. The Summer Internship Program runs approximately 10 weeks beginning in mid-May to early August, depending upon the internship being applied for, and affords students 18 years of age and older the opportunity to work one-on-one with musical theater industry professionals.
Internships are available in the following areas: Cabaret Theater, Choreography, Company Management, Costume Coordination, Development, Education & Outreach, Graphic/Web Design, Hair Design, Lighting Design, Music, Production Management, Property Coordination, Public Relations/Special Events, Sound Design, Stage Direction, Stage Management and Video Production.
By working behind-the-scenes on Pittsburgh CLO’s 2012 Summer Season, interns will receive professional training and valuable hands-on experience in both musical theater and non-profit administration. Running June 5 through August 5 at the Benedum Center, Pittsburgh CLO’s 2012 Summer Season will feature the Pittsburgh premieres of Come Fly Away and The Addams Family. These productions join dynamic new productions of A Chorus Line, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof & Sunset Boulevard to complete Pittsburgh CLO’s 66th season.
Established in 1973 and funded through the generosity of the CLO Guild, the Pittsburgh CLO Internship program provides students the opportunity for college credit and the chance to pursue their artistic interests professionally.
