City Theatre celebrates Artistic Director Tracy Brigden's tenth season with Precious Little by Madeleine George. Under Brigden's direction, Precious Little runs March 12 - April 3 on City Theatre's Main Stage with an Opening Night Performance on Friday, March 18 at 8pm.
Precious Little features Theo Allyn, Laurie Klatscher, and
Kelly McAndrew. The design team includes Anne Mundell (Scenic), Angela M. Vesco (Costume),
Andrew David Ostrowski (Lighting), and
Eric Shimelonis (Sound).
Brodie, a gifted linguist, learns unsettling news about the baby she carries. Unable to get comfort from her girlfriend, she finds it in the two least likely sources imaginable: the elderly speaker of a vanishing language ... and a gorilla at the zoo.
Madeleine George's irreverent and charming new play reveals the beauty and the limits of communication.
