Beahen, Brown, Primack & More Set For Pittsburgh CLO's 8 TRACK, Runs 5/21-9/27

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce the cast and creative team for The Pittsburgh premiere of 8-TRACK, The Sounds of the 70's, which runs May 21 through September 27 at the CLO Cabaret. Put on your leisure suit, flowered shirt, platform shoes and halter top and boogie on down for 10 years of ground-breaking music, including hits such as "Brick House," "Lady Marmalade," "Best Of My Love," "Car Wash," "Stayin' Alive," "Y.M.C.A.," "The Hustle," "I Will Survive" and many, many more. Bradley Beahen (Baritone) is making his Pittsburgh CLO debut. A Carnegie Mellon alumnus, he has appeared Off-Broadway in Enter Laughing and in regional productions of The Rocky Horror Show, Hot 'N Cole, Grease, Violet, Plaid Tidings, My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra and 8-TRACK, The Sounds of the 70's in Kansas City.

Teddey Brown (Tenor) is making his Pittsburgh CLO debut. He has appeared in productions of 8-Track, The Sounds of the 70's in Denver, Milwaukee and Detroit. MR. Brown also performed in Ziegfield Follies Tour and the First National Tour of Smokey Joe's Café. He appeared in the television show "Murder in Small Town X" on Fox and in the film "O Brother, Where Art Thou," directed by the Academy® Award-winning Coen brothers.

Tess Primack (Alto) is making her Pittsburgh CLO debut. She is currently a student in Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama. Her regional credits include Parade with SpeakEasy Stage Company and the New Repertory Theatre.

Tess Soltau (Soprano) is making her Pittsburgh CLO debut. She has performed in an Off-Broadway production of Ragamuffins. Her regional credits include West Side Story and Urban Cowboy, and her Carnegie Mellon credits include Radiant Baby, Into the Woods, The Front Desk and Tick, Tick...BOOM. She is currently a Musical Theater major at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

Kristiann Menotiades (Understudy) most recently worked with Pittsburgh CLO in the CLO Cabaret productions of My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and Shear Madness. Ms. Menotiades is a graduate of Point Park University and is currently an instructor at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy.

Jon-Michael Reese (Understudy) is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama who has performed in numerous CMU productions, including Into the Woods, 110 in the Shade, The Piano Lesson, Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, The Rocky Horror Show and Golden Boy. He has also appeared in regional productions of Bye Bye Birdie, Man of La Mancha, A Doll's House, Flaming Idiots and Guys and Dolls.Rick Seeber (Conceiver, Director, Musical Supervisor)

Mr. Seeber conceived and directed 8-TRACK, The Sounds of the 70's, which premiered at Milwaukee Rep, and has enjoyed long runs in more than twenty-five cities, including The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Minneapolis, The American Heartland Theatre in Kansas City, and The Century Theatre in Detroit. He has produced and directed Beehive, The 60's Musical, highlighted by two coast-to-coast national tours that played in 70 cities. Mr. Seeber's production of A Brief History of White Music ran for a year in Denver, followed by runs at Milwaukee Rep and in Memphis, among others, followed by a national tour. Mr. Seeber also works extensively as an audio producer, creating cast recordings, commercials, and other projects.

Michael Gribbin (Musical Arranger) is currently the associate conductor of the National Tour of Spamalot after serving for five years as associate conductor of the National Tour of Les Misérables. He also played keyboard and conducted tours of Disney's The Lion King, Fame, A Chorus Line, and Jesus Christ, Superstar. Regionally, he has worked on The Who's Tommy, Nunsense, Into the Woods, Beehive and 42nd Street. Mr. Gribbin also was a grand prize winner on ABC's "America's Funniest People."

Patricia Williams (Associate Producer) has co-produced and general managed such hits as The Male Intellect - An Oxymoron, Greater Tuna and A Brief History of White Music. She also was company manager of the National Tours of Beehive, The Sixties Musical and A Brief History of White Music.

Tonya Phillips Staples (Choreographer) performed as the soprano in the original cast of 8-TRACK, The Sounds of the 70's and choreographed the show at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, Minn. Her other credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and the National Tours of Beehive, the 60's Musical and A Brief History of White Music. She worked as the choreographer and co-director for Stage Aurora Theatrical Company's production of Cinderella, and was the musical director and choreographer for the Gospel musical, Mama, I Want To Sing!. Ms. Staples earned her bachelor's degree in music education from Stetson University, where she learned to sing in Italian, French, Spanish and German. She earned first place in the Orlando Opera Guild Competition and is also a former Miss Black Orlando.

Mark Derryberry (Production Sound Consultant) is an award winning audio engineer, sound designer, sound consultant, and producer who has recorded thousands of audio projects for clients such as PBS, NBC and Turner Entertainment. He has also been the sound designer for productions of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and West Side Story, among others. He has worked as the Production Sound Consultant for 8-TRACK, The Sounds of the 70's since the show's inception. Mr. Derryberry serves as president of Derryberry Audio Inc. in Denver and boasts more than 25 years of engineering and sound design experience.

Deana Muro (Musical Director) is a CLO Cabaret veteran of eight productions since the theater's inception, including her most recent music direction of My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which featured her 1,000th performance. She has music directed/accompanied for Pittsburgh CLO, Point Park University, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, City Theater, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre and The Theater Factory and played keyboard for CLO's The Full Monty and Smokey Joe's Café. She is a graduate of Point Park University.

Andrew David Ostrowski (Lighting Designer) most recently designed Porgy and Bess for the Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the CLO Cabaret and both Without You and Long Story Short for City Theatre. He also designed the lighting for six other CLO Cabaret productions. He has been the Associate Lighting Designer on 50 plus CLO shows and has designed for Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Quantum Theatre, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, Pittsburgh Musical Theater and many others.

Andrea Shockling (Set Designer) has designed sets for three other CLO Cabaret productions, including Always...Patsy Cline, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. She designed Pittsburgh Public Theater's The Crucible and Jewish Theater of Pittsburgh's Door to Door, among others. Ms. Shockling currently serves as the CLO Academy Education Programs Manager. A Carnegie Mellon University graduate, she is a consultant with Growing Theater Outreach, a mentorship program through the School of Drama at CMU that brings educational theater experiences to middle school students in the region.

Barbara Wolfe (Costume Designer) is an Associate Professor of Theater and the Resident Costume Designer for the Department of Theater at Binghamton University. She is also the Associate Artistic Director for Cider Mill Playhouse in Endicott, NY. She has an M.F.A. from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in Theater Design. Professionally, she has designed for Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY, the Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, NY and the American Heartland Theater in Kansas City.

Tim Brady (Stage Manager) returns to the CLO Cabaret after working as stage manager for four other Cabaret productions and performing in Forbidden Broadway: SVU. He most recently served as assistant stage manager and an understudy in My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. As an actor, he has appeared in nearly two dozen productions of Pittsburgh CLO's A Musical Christmas Carol and numerous Summer Season productions, in addition to appearing in the CLO's Gallery of Heroes program for 10 years. Mr. Brady was also the managing director of the Conley Inn Dinner Theater in Irwin for 17 years.
