Join Dorothy, her beloved Toto, and a trio of characters who become her best friends: Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion. Guided by Glenda the Good Witch of the North and goaded by the scary Wicked Witch of the East, the foursome makes its journey along the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City to seek the help of the Wizard of Oz himself. They soon discover that everything is not quite how it appears…and the Wizard is not exactly what they’d imagined. Based on the beloved book by L. Frank Baum published in 1900, the story originally became a stage play in 1902 and is best known, of course, for the 1939 film version starring Judy Garland, and popular songs, such as, Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
