TRI-HEX-CIRC is a striking vertical sculpture by artist Phillip K. Smith III, installed at the Raintree Drive and Hayden Road roundabout in Scottsdale. The artwork transforms geometrically from a circle at the base to a hexagon in the middle and culminates in a triangle, rising over 50 feet and interacting with the desert light throughout the day. Smith's vision is for the piece to become a visual landmark for the area, celebrating the ever-changing interplay of light and shadow. Scottsdale Public Art commissioned this installation as part of its mission to enhance the community's creative landscape.
