CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Samuel Robish-40-50, escaped convict serving a life term, a vicious violent hulk of a man, not very intelligent

Chuck Wright-25-30, handsome, a junior partner in his father's law firm, desperately in love with Cindy Hilliard, rumored to be an irresponsible boy who loves fast cars and women.

Harry Carson-25-30, an FBI man, studious looking, serves as a conscience to Bard.

Joseph Hayes, adapted from his best selling novel. A Smash hit on Broadway starring Paul Newman as well as the winner of the 1955 Tony Award, this fresh approach to a classic, exciting crime drama will keep you on the edge of your seat! Follow what happens when an ordinary family living in a Midwest suburb is invaded by a trio of escaped criminals. Abruptly their pleasant home becomes a jungle full of cunning and violence. Examine, up close, the clash of wills between the forces representing good and evil: Dan Hilliard, the husband and father who has to keep the situation calm for the sake of his wife and two children; and Glenn Griffin, the leader of the criminals, bent on revenge against the policeman who arrested him and willing to do whatever it takes to secure his freedom.
