Theater Works is pleased to announce the opening of their West Valley Costume Shop - Prop and Set Piece rental facility. This new venture, which has been financially supported by a generous grant from the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, will provide for expense reductions and efficiency gains for all performing arts organizations which choose to use this new service. According to Jack Lytle, Executive Director, "This new venture is exciting on a number of levels:
It will allow Theater Works to be more efficient in the utilization of our existing costume, prop and set piece inventory - which should translate into expense reduction. It will provide for other theaters the same opportunity to reduce expenses while conserving their limited cash flow.It will allow for a better utilization of limited space and provide for a better and safer theatrical experience for our patrons.""We are all very excited about this new addition to Theater Works. This new space is a solution to many of problems we were facing at the theatre. It is going to be such an asset to what we do and provide at Theater Works as well as an asset to the community and the theatre community itself," said Chris Hamby, Rental Shop Project Manager."I am so excited to be a part of this new business from the very start," said Terry Burns, Rental Shop Manager. "We are launching our new website soon. Theaters and others theatrical productions will be able to view our costumes and props online."Videos
