Theatre Artists Studio presents Ernest Thompson's American classic comedy, On Golden Pond, from November 28 through December 14 at The Studio, 4848 E. Cactus Rd, #406, in Scottsdale.

This heartwarming and often hilarious comedy centers on a long-married couple, Norman and Ethel Thayer. Loveable curmudgeon Norman is as tart-tongued as ever, and his spirited wife, Ethel, delights in all of the small things that have enriched their lives. Together, they are returning to their summer home for their 48th year on Golden Pond.

When their estranged daughter arrives with her fiancé and his son in tow, Norman and Ethel agree to host the young boy for the duration of the summer. And as they come to terms with the realities of life's twilight years, reexamining the past and worrying over the fleeting future, they discover how precious time really is.

On Golden Pond won three Tony Awards in its original Broadway run, and the 1981 film adaptation received 10 Oscar nominations, with wins for its stars Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn, as well as writer Ernest Thompson.

This Studio production is brought to you by the same team responsible for last season's sold-out hit, The Last Romance. Directed by Studio Member Brad Allen, it features Judy Lebeau and Michael Fleck with fellow Studio artists Dee Rich and Steven Fajardo, along with guest artists Matthew Cary and Emilio Cress.

Show times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Be sure to get your tickets early. Two performances of this limited run are already sold out and a third is almost full. No tickets are available for Saturday, December 6th and Saturday, December 13th.

Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $10 for Students 25 & Under and $15 for Groups of 10 or More, Seniors 65 and over and Members of the Military. For tickets, call the box office at 602-765-0120 or visit: www.thestudiophx.org.
