Theatre Artists Studio Presents Robert Anderson's I NEVER SANG FOR MY FATHER Image

Human nature cries out that parents and children should understand each other.

Robert Anderson's biographical play has become a classic of American theatre and film. It courageously takes on the huge themes of familial love and devotion, individual aspiration and obligation, honing in on the unvarnished realities in the lives of one family, infecting and challenging all of their relationships.

Anderson never takes a side, never passes judgment on any of his characters. He bravely lets each member of this family speak for themselves.

In Anderson's own words, "Death ends a life. But it does not end a relationship."

Produced by The Theatre Artists Studio and directed by Steven Fajardo, the cast features Studio members Tom Koelbel, Judy Lebeau, Carol Gibson, Al Benneian, Patti Hurtado, William Mosely, David Heap, and guest artist, Charles Sowder.

I Never Sang for My Father runs from April 20 through May 13, 2018, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for General Admission; $20 for Groups of 10 or More, Seniors age 65 & Over & Members of the Military; and $15 for Students age 25 & Under. Tickets can be obtained by calling The Box Office at 602-765-0120 or online at www.thestudiophx.org/tickets
