Theater Works PuppetWorks presents another all-new production, this time in 3D in Jimmy's Space Adventure. Jimmy has a dream that he could swear was real. Rocket ships and space creatures take Jimmy on a space adventure he will never forget. Jimmy's Space Adventure will be on stage January 14, 21 and 28, 2017 with performances at 10:30am and 12:00pm in the Gyder Theater of the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts. This original production was created by our own Producing Artistic Director Chris Hamby.

Patrons will have the opportunity to experience Jimmy's Space Adventure in 3D. With the use of chromoadepth glasses, audience members will experience a 3D effect making it feel as if they are going on the adventure with Jimmy in space while still enjoying the glowing effect of blacklight puppetry.

Each 40-minute show includes a post-show tutorial on the puppets used in the show and a brief overview of puppetry manipulation. After the show there is an option for a make and take workshop for $4.00 where audience members can make their own simple puppet to take home with them. Productions are geared towards audience members ages 3-8, but are enjoyed by all.

Tickets for Jimmy's Space Adventure are now on sale. General admission tickets are just $8. To enhance your experience, Chromadepth glasses will be available for $2. The production takes place in the Gyder Theater of the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts (8355 West Peoria Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345).
