Did you know the iconic line "It's alive!" was never in Shelley's novel? It was added to the 1931 film version with Boris Karloff as the monster and Colin Clive as Dr. Frankenstein. Did you know that when Mary Shelley died, amongst her personal items was the shriveled remains of her husband's heart that hadn't incinerated completely in his cremation? We know these creepy things and so many more because of our dive into Frankenstein!
We think of Halloween as a month here at Theater Works. Frankenstein will thrill you! Our dark and twisted art show with work created by tattoo-world artists from AZ and CA will haunt our lobby for the entire month of October! The classic creepy Hollywood films will give you chills anew, their magic is undying! And our Haunted Masquerade fundraising party will lurk forever in the dark corners of your mind!
