Phoenix's renowned jazz club packs it in for November, bringing several of jazz's hottest acts to downtown. This month, guitarist Graham Dechter and his All-Star Quartet arrive Nov. 11th, while the renowned drummer Marcus Baylor teams up with wife Jean for their Phoenix debut. The couple will perform The Baylor Project, including selections from their new album, The Journey, on Nov. 15th.

The live jazz club also features a wide array of jazz styles, jam sessions, lectures and matinee shows to appeal to all tastes and ages. Additional highlights include a jazz exploration of The Beatles "Revolver" album on Nov 24th and Jazz & Jokes on Nov 16th.

From the mid-1970s through the early 90s, Francine reigned as the most popular jazz and blues vocalist in the Valley. In fact, she was still winning New Times/Best of Phoenix awards after she moved to Atlanta! Francine appeared with her bands Jazz Alive and Fever at venues such as The Boojum Tree, Chuy's and Chuy's Next Door/The Night Club, Churchill's Pub and Bombay Bicycle Club, plus numerous festivals and concert halls. She has been part of Lyle Lovett's Large Band since the mid 80's, appeared on The Tonight Show, and appeared for many seasons in Seattle's high-energy dinner-theatre cabaret, Teatro ZinZanni. What an amazingly diverse and exciting career!
