Stray Cat Theatre Welcomes Back CHICKS WITH DICKS, Now thru 5/11

Stray Cat Theatre presents the return of Chicks With Dicks, written by Trista Baldwin and directed by Ron May, with fight choreography by Chelsea Pace.

It's time. Time to leave your high-brow at the door. The cult hit that was the first show head kitty Ron May was ever involved with in the Valley (playing Joe aka Dog Boy)...is coming back. Back with a vengeance! An homage to and parody of films like FASTER PUSSYCAT, KILL! KILL!, CHICKS WITH DICKS chronicles the misadventures of Vespa DeAmour, a prom queen runner-up that takes control of the all-girl biker gang Satan's Cherries after the violent death of her sex-shy boyfriend. Don't miss your chance to join hot mamas Dixie, Varla, Chantalle, Kitten, and Vespa DeAmore as they ride some sweet choppers and smack each other around! And BOY, do they smack each other around. The show contains roughly 22 stage fights. That's even MORE than there were originally! PLUS a new musical number not seen in the original production.

*note: like most Stray Cat shows, this one contains may not contain much in the way of adult language but BOY does it contain adult situations.

Performances will run tonight, April 19th 2013 through Sunday, May 11th, 2013. All Thursday performances will have a 7 pm curtain; Fridays and Saturdays are at 8 pm and Sundays are at 2 pm. All shows take place Our East Valley Alley, Tempe Performing Arts Center - 132 E 6^th Street in Tempe's Mill Avenue District - close to ASU (at Forest Avenue, two blocks North of University).
