Space 55 has announced it has extended the run of the dark comedy, "Remote Control" for an additional weekend, with performances added for May 5 & 6 at 8 pm. All tickets are $15.
The world premiere of this dark comedy by Janet Burruel, "Remote Control" follows Millie, an elderly shut-in succumbing to a television shopping obsession. Her only visitor is Bud, the young man who delivers her meals. Meanwhile, the stars of Millie's shopping program vie for hostess supremacy at all costs. Increasingly ridiculous antics camouflage everyone's deep addictions, and the next fix is just a purchase away.
