Single tickets for Arizona Theatre Company's (ATC) productions of the irresistible musical tribute to the power of hope, The Music Man, and August Wilson's Two Trains Running will go on sale Oct. 1.
The Music Man, directed by ATC Artistic Director David Ivers, will be on stage in Tucson at the Temple of Music & Art, 330 S. Scott Ave., from Dec. 1-30 and at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe, in Phoenix from Jan. 5-27, 2019. Two Trains Running, about the social impact of the civil rights movement in 1969 Pittsburgh from the author of Fences, will run from Jan. 19-Feb. 9, 2019 in Tucson and from Feb. 14 to March 3 in Phoenix..
Single ticket prices range from $25 to $100, including fees. Additional fees may apply. Group ticket prices range from $20-$50 for groups of 10 and more. Following Two Trains Running, ATC will present American Mariachi, José Cruz González's story of an all-girl mariachi band in the 1970s, March 9-30 in Tucson and April 4-21 in Phoenix; and Things I Know to be True, by Andrew Bovell, directed by Mark Clements, a beautiful and painfully perceptive portrait of a family and the frictions that arise when grown-up children try to push beyond the confines of their loving parents' expectations, April 20-May 11 in Tucson and May 16 to June 2 in Phoenix.
Single tickets for American Mariachi and Things I Know to be True go on sale on Monday, Dec. 3.
The 2018/2019 season is dedicated to Geri Silvi, ATC's long-time Box Office Manager in Phoenix. The season is sponsored by I. Michael and Beth Kasser.
ATC has standardized curtain times. Performance times will be: Tuesdays through Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and all matinees will be held at 2:00 p.m.
