Scottsdale Musical Theater Company'S cabaret series returns with a powerouse trio and special guests - for one night only, on Friday 14 October 2016!

Scottsdale Musical Theater Company continues its Cabaret Series reprising their "Together (For No Good Reason)" banner with a trio of some of the Valley's best performers joining SMTC favorite and award-winning cabaret performer Hector Coris in a one-night-only evening of song.
SMTC welcomes Kim Cooper-Schmidt (recently seen in Fountain Hills' Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and many other shows), and Michael Schauble (SMTC's Sondheim on Sondheim and Kiss of the Spider Woman). The trio, under the music direction of Curtis Moeller, will sing some of their favorite musical numbers as well as duets and other surprises.

The show will take place on Friday, October 14 @ 7:30PM at Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281. Reserved seating tickets are $20. Tickets are available by calling 602-909-4215 or online at www.scottsdalemusicaltheater.com or at the TCA box office.

With its on-going series of cabaret-style events, SMTC is providing entertaining, intimate concerts featuring some of the Valley's best local talent. "There's really nothing like this kind of cabaret performance in Phoenix, not to the extent that it exists in NY, San Francisco, Chicago or some other big cities," states Mr. Coris. "It's not about getting up on stage and belting out the latest Broadway hits. It's following a tradition of the connection between singer-and-song, singer-and-musician and singer-and-audience to create a powerful, entertaining and cohesive journey. Or sometimes just a celebration with some incredibly talented people having a blast together."
