SMTC Adds Matinees to GYPSY's Run

Due to popular demand, Scottsdale Musical Theater Company is adding a performance of their upcoming production of Gypsy on Saturday, August 22 @ 2PM. Scottsdale Musical Theater Company welcomes long time valley theater veterans Debra Qualtire as "Mama Rose" and Zoni Award winner Terry Gadaire as "Herbie" with the title role of "Louise/Gypsy Rose Lee" played by Sarah Cassidy. The show will be directed and choreographed by David Hock, with Kevin Hayward as musical director/conductor of our 20+ piece orchestra. Performances dates/times: August 20, 21, 22 @ 7:30PM and August 22 and 23 @ 2:00PM Performances will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281. SMTC also announces dates for the rest of the 2015-16 season. The Arizona premiere of the multi-media revue Sondheim on Sondheim will run October 29 - 31, 2015, the musical Hello Dolly will run February 3 - 6, 2016 and the musical My Fair Lady will run August 18 - 21, 2016. Tickets are now available for these shows as well.
