Richard Marx is performing live at Mesa Arts Center on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. Over the last 20 years he has made his mark on the music industry with over 30 million albums sold and 13 #1 songs.

Who: This solo acoustic show is an all-age's event that will delight everyone in attendance.

What: Over the last 20 years, Richard Marx has consistently made his mark on the music industry with over 30 million albums sold and 13 #1 songs. In 1987, his debut single "Don't Mean Nothing", on his self-titled album, kicked off his career as a solo artist. In 2004, Marx's song "Dance With My Father" won a Grammy for Song of the Year, which he wrote with the late Luther Vandross. Recently, he has kept busy with countless successful projects. In 2008, Richard began touring with Vertical Horizon Lead singer Matt Scannell. As an acoustic duo, and, in September of 2009, he released his latest solo album "Emotional Remains."
