Puppet Works New Show Introduces Young Children To The Performing Arts, 3/26-4/2

Theater Works' new Puppet Works is a great way to introduce young children to the performing arts. The new musical puppet production is the exciting show CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL WHO WOULDN'T RECYCLE! Geared toward children ages 3 - 6 the show is approximately 35 minutes and includes a talk back with our puppeteers about recycling, the puppets and the art of puppeteering. Performing on Saturdays the puppet performance explores recycling and its benefits through music, poetry and puppetry. The new Puppet Works production performs on Saturday; March 26th and April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the McMillin Theater at Theater Works.

CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL WHO WOULDN'T RECYCLE is a fun puppet show about recycling, conservation and the environment. It's the story about a boy named Christopher Michael who learns the value of recycling from a magical time traveling Recyclebot named Rocky. Join Christopher Michael and Rocky on their rhythmical, magical and educational adventure that teaches the importance of recycling and reminds us all that everyone can make a difference.

The talented puppeteers include Jeremiah Clay Neal (Playwright and Puppeteer) and Louis Farber (Playwright and Puppeteer) both co-authored CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL WHO WOULDN'T RECYCLE. Jeremiah is a local professional playwright and songwriter. He is also the playwright of Puppet Works premiere Saving Santa and his published works include U:Bug:Me, a rock musical for family audiences, and The Kid Who Ran for President, based on a book by Dan Gutman. Louis is an actor, writer and the Artistic Director of Word Of Mouth Tour Company. He is a proud graduate of Arizona State University where he received his BA in Theatre. Louis has worked as an actor professionally all over the United States including Boston, Los Angeles, New York and Phoenix.
