November Is Full Of Fun At Great AZ Puppet Theater!

The Great AZ Puppet Theater has announced its lineup of treats for the month of November! Check out the shows below!

November 7-11
"IMAGINE THIS": A giant puppet extravaganza featuring original stories written by students from Kenilworth Elementary, adapted and performed by professional puppeteers. A high energy show filled with wild antics and originality -- funny, exciting and endlessly creative. This year's stories feature dragons, a unicorn on a magical journey, a giant alien pizza, a talking pencil, and much much more! Recommended for ages 5 and up. **No daytime shows on Saturday, November 10.** *** SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11 IS "PAY WHAT YOU WANT"!***


Saturday, November 10, 8:00pm
"MYSTERY PUPPET SLAM": This month we have an extra special, one-night-only Puppet Slam! You'll have to come on down to see what this "Mystery" Slam is all about. This event will be unlike any other Slam you'll ever see and promises more puppet shows than ever before! ADULTS ONLY, ages 18+. $12 if PAID at least 24 hours in advance (call 602-262-2050 ext. 0 to pay for tickets), $15 day-of-show. 8:00pm November 10 ONLY.

November 14-18
"THE LITTLE RED HEN": Who will help the Little Red Hen with all the work it takes to get wheat made into bread? A fun sing-along show featuring the hard-working hen, her silly (and lazy!) animal friends and a very helpful little chick.

November 23-December 2
"LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD": Come celebrate the Puppet Theater's 35th Birthday with the show that started it all! The Big Bad Wolf is up to no good and Little Red Riding Hood is in trouble. She should have listened to her mother who warned "Stay on the path and do not talk to strangers." Enjoy the traditional tale full of music, fun, and excitement. ***FRIDAY, NOV. 23 & SATURDAY, NOV. 24 Join us for special GAPT Birthday festivities! Come before the show to make your very own birthday cake puppet and perform in a special pre-show sing-along where you get to be the puppeteer! After the show there will be birthday cake and a meet-and-greet with Little Red Riding Hood herself. Come celebrate with us! (NO 2:00PM SHOW ON SATURDAY NOV. 24)***

Saturday, November 24, 7:30pm
"A FAIRY TALE EVENING": A special benefit to celebrate 35 years of Great Arizona Puppet Theater! Join us for a silent auction, raffle prizes, puppet vignettes, wine, beer, small bites, and more. Fairy tale attire applauded! Help us reach our goal to raise $35,000 by the end of the year to care for our beautiful, historic building and support our long-running theater as we look towards the next 35 years.
