Moscow State Radio Symphony Plays The Mesa Arts Center

Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra was established in 1978 during the reign of Russia's USSR. Created out of a need for symphonic repertoire for its citizens, the Moscow State Radio Symphony has become internationally recognized. After the dissolution of the USSR in 2003, the Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra continued to gain popularity and began to grow its musical empire.

Under the direction of Alexei Kornjenko, this Russian program will include guest pianist, Alexander Sinchuk, winner of the 2009 Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition in Moscow.

Sergei Rachmaninov Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Opus 43

(1873 - 1943) Alexander Sinchuk, Pianist
