Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present the international smash hit Menopause The Musical for an eight-show engagement, March 31 to April 5, in the Virginia G. Piper Theater.

Visit www.ScottsdalePerformingArts.org or call 480-499-TKTS (8587) for tickets and performance times. Tickets start at $29, and group discounts are also available.

Menopause The Musical is a groundbreaking celebration of women who find themselves at any stage of "The Change." The hilarious musical comedy has evolved as a grassroots movement of women who deal with life adjustments after 40 by embracing each other and the road ahead.

Set in a department store, Menopause The Musical features four women of a certain age who meet by chance while shopping for a black lace bra at a lingerie sale. After noticing unmistakable similarities among one another, they joke about their woeful hot flashes, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain and more. The laughter-filled, 90-minute production gets audience members out of their seats and singing along to parodies of classic pop songs of the 1960s, 70s and 80s. These women form a sisterhood and unique bond as they rejoice that menopause is no longer "The Silent Passage."

Menopause The Musical is produced by Tony Award-winning GFour Productions. This national tour stars Sandra Benton, Megan Cavanagh, Rebecca Fisher and Roberta B. Wall. Since its debut in 2001, Menopause The Musical has entertained audiences across the United States in more than 450 U.S. cities, nearly 300 international cities and a total of 15 countries.
